Summary — PROJECT SHWETA is a geoscientific research platform for academic and scientific analysis of subsurface hydrogen prospectivity. By accessing the platform you agree to these terms. Access is granted by invitation — tiered as Basic Standard Pro. The GIS datasets and PI layers are for research use only; commercial exploitation is not permitted.
By accessing or using the PROJECT SHWETA platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users, including researchers, students, and institutional collaborators granted access under any tier.
PROJECT SHWETA (Subsurface Hydrogen Workflow for Energy Transition Advancement) is a geoscientific web platform. It provides:
- GIS-based natural hydrogen prospectivity analysis across Indian states
- Prospectivity Index (PI) heatmaps — Reservoir, Seal, and Source sublayers
- Coordinate inspection and CSV data export for authorised tiers
The Platform is made available for non-commercial academic and scientific research purposes only.
Access to the Platform by default is redirected via basic plan. You must authenticate using a valid Google account. By doing so you represent that:
- The Google account you use belongs to you
- You will not share your account credentials or session with any third party
Platform administrators reserve the right to approve, suspend, or revoke any account at any time, with or without notice, at their sole discretion.
The Platform operates a three-tier permission model. Features available to each tier are subject to change at the administrators' discretion:
State boundaries, world mask, and ~200 km zoom resolution. Partial PI Prospectivity heatmap viewing only. No coordinate display, no layer registry, no export.
All Basic features plus district boundaries, ~100 km zoom, partial Map Feature Registry, and partial access to PI Reservoir, Seal, Source, and H₂/He occurrence layers. Full PI Prospectivity. No coordinate display or export.
All Standard features plus unrestricted zoom, coordinate display, full Map Feature Registry, Geo-Geometrical Toolset, raw component values, copy coordinates, navigation tools, and full data export.
Tier upgrades are at the discretion of platform administrators. Access is granted for research purposes and does not confer any ownership or licence over the underlying datasets.
Subject to these Terms, you are permitted to:
- Access and view geoscientific data for non-commercial academic research
- Export datasets (where your tier permits) for personal research analysis
- Reference Platform-derived insights in academic publications, with appropriate attribution to PROJECT SHWETA
- Use the Platform tools to analyse and interpret subsurface hydrogen prospectivity
You must not use the Platform in any way that:
- Involves commercial exploitation of datasets, heatmaps, or derived products
- Attempts to reverse-engineer, scrape, or mass-download Platform datasets
- Circumvents tier-based permission gates or authentication mechanisms
- Involves redistribution or sublicensing of data to third parties
- Violates any applicable Indian or international law or regulation
- Introduces malware, performs denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise interferes with Platform infrastructure
- Misrepresents your identity, affiliation, or intended use to gain access
Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to institutional or legal authorities.
All Platform software, UI design, GIS datasets, PI computation methodology, and associated documentation are the intellectual property of the PROJECT SHWETA development team unless otherwise noted.
PROJECT SHWETA is a research-grade platform. The PI scores, prospectivity heatmaps, and geoscientific datasets provided are intended to support academic analysis — they are not certified for commercial drilling decisions, regulatory submissions, or investment purposes.
The Platform makes no warranties as to the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any data or computation output. Users are responsible for independently verifying any data used for critical decisions.
Platform administrators may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, inactivity, or changes in research scope.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 12. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 07, 08, and 10 survive termination.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the PROJECT SHWETA team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jharkhand, India.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
